Babies - 3 to 15 months
Our babies have there own play room and sleep room allocated for them, where they can safely play
and sleep with consistent care and attention.
The babies room has a routine which the staff follow but we also try to accommodate any routines
you and your child may be used to.
In our daily activities we try to incorporate as many experiences as possible for the babies e.g. music,
lights and sounds for Simulating the younger babies sensory development. Sorting. matching and
bricks to promote hand and eye co-ordination. Etc.
Assessments on all children within ladybirds are carried out, these are very informal and will show
your childs development and progress. These are available to look at and discuss at any time. Daily
records are completed each day to let you know how much your child has had to eat drink, sleep times
etc.
There are a few items that parents must bring to nursery each day for their child;
- Two changes of clothes
- Oisposable nappies (nappies can be left at nursery if preferred)
- Cream and wipes
- All food and formula feeds ready prepared
- Any soothers, blankets etc, used to settle your child.
Storage is provided for all of your Childs things. We are happy for you to visit before your child is due
to start, to discus your Childs routine, any habits, likes or dislikes. |
